MERCY WOMEN

We exist to equip and encourage women to know God and glorify him in their homes and communities, to grow towards maturity in Christ, to cultivate spiritual friendships among the women at Mercy Church, and to share the gospel of Christ

Our Vision

Women need other women. We need each other to help us run the race well, to come alongside us when the going gets rough, and to help us “turn our eyes upon Jesus”. We sharpen one another, encourage each other, grow in Christ together, and as Hebrews says, “stir one another up to love and good works.” As believers, we have been adopted into the family of God, and thus, we are spiritual sisters! What a magnificent reality, and we want to live it out fully here at Mercy.  Mercy Church’s Women’s Ministry strives to connect women and encourage spiritual growth through events, small groups, mentoring, and other opportunities. If you are new to Mercy, we hope to see you at our next event, and help you get involved!

"Christ Our Life"

Our theme comes from Col. 3:1-4, “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

Mercy Church Women’s Ministry strives to point women to a deeper relationship with Christ and to be firmly rooted in God’s Word. It encourages the formation of spiritual friendships, places a high value on unity, and encourages women to use their gifts to strengthen the church and bless others. Our ultimate aim is to glorify God and make much of Jesus in all we do!
