Welcome
Just as plants thrive with three essential elements—healthy soil, water, and sunlight—children flourish spiritually when they have the foundational support of a God-loving home, the nourishment of a church community, and the guidance of God’s presence.

Safety
The Mercy Kids team—made up of dedicated staff and amazing volunteers—is here to create a fun, safe, and welcoming space where your little ones can grow and thrive while you are at service. We’re committed to nurturing each child’s journey in a supportive environment. Every volunteer undergoes background checks to ensure your child’s safety, and the kids' spaces are monitored by security cameras for added protection. When it’s time to pick up your child, please check them out at our stations with a check-out slip. Parents, rest assured—your kids are in great hands with us!
Mercy Kids Director
Hi, my name is Yana, and I have the joy of serving as the Children’s Ministry Director here at Mercy Church. I count it a true honor to walk alongside families and help kids grow in their knowledge of God, their relationship with Him, and their love for one another.
My background is in elementary education and educational psychology, and God has given me a deep passion for helping children learn, explore, and delight in His Word in ways that are both meaningful and fun.
One of my greatest joys is seeing children discover who God is and how much He loves them. I believe Sunday school is not just a class but a place where children are nurtured, encouraged, and equipped to live out their faith every day. Studies show that about 61% of adults who attended church regularly as children continue to attend regularly as adults. My heart is to create a warm, welcoming environment where kids are excited to come, parents feel supported, and the whole church family is reminded of the incredible gift children are to the body of Christ.
I am so thankful to be part of what God is doing here at Mercy Church and can’t wait to see how He continues to grow our children in faith, hope, and love.
