Welcome To MercyKids
During Sunday service, we have a special program for kids birth-4th grade. The program takes place in the adjacent gym. Our team and signs will make it easy to find it.
We are committed to these 4 areas.
SAFE
At MercyKids, all of our volunteers have gone through background check. Security is always at the door. We also have no snacks in the gym.
CLEAN
We make sure to clean up the environments. The toys get a wipe down. Tables and high touch areas are cleaned frequently.
GOOD NEWS
We want every child to know and believe the Good News - that Jesus loved them so much that he died for them. They're lives will be forever changed as they encounter the grace and kindness of Jesus.
FUN
Children are engaged in fun, sensory rich, active lessons and activities. We believe children learn best when they're engaged and giggling.

What We Teach
Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at MercyKids is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!
Your First Visit
Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly welcome team and signage will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!
Meet Alvina
Hello, I'm Alvina, and I've been serving as the children’s ministry director at Mercy Church since January 2023. A bit about me: I'm currently working toward a degree in Elementary Education. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my son Zion, traveling with friends and family, reading the word of God, and dedicating time to prayer.
My strong calling to this ministry is reflected in my passion and love for children, families, and our dedicated volunteers. I'm passionate about shaping their hearts with the love of Jesus. In Mercy Kids, my primary goal is to instill the word of God in our children's hearts and minds so that they never forget it as they grow older. I aim to create an environment where children feel happy, safe, and excited to come on Sundays, fostering a desire to return.
